The Motorcycle Action Group North East Lincs calls upon The DSA
(Driving Standards Agency) to retain a motorcycle test facility
in North East Lincolnshire.
By the DSA's own standards the distance to the nearest MPTC (Multi
Purpose Test Centre) from this area is too great. The DSA have stated
that people taking their test should not have to travel more than
20 miles or 45 minutes. Lincoln is 36 miles and Scunthorpe 30 it
would take longer than 45 minutes to travel to either for a learner
on a 125cc motorcycle.
A meeting has been arranged for next Monday 20th October at The
Barge, Riverhead, Grimsby for all 2 (or 3) wheeled riders interested
in campaigning to retain a testing facility in this area.
